I have been meaning to post something about A Tale of Two Cities, but haven't gotten around to it until now. The first half of this book was really slow and confusing (I had read it so long ago that I must have blocked this out because I loved the ending so much!). There are multiple story lines going on and they don't come together until the second half when things really pick up. Dickens loves to make his readers pay for the good stuff, which may actually be what makes him such a great writer and his endings that much more moving. Anyway, it's a great book and definitely one of my favorite endings ever. I had a great time reading it again.
Can't wait to catch up with everyone soon!
